Blessed with abundant nature, Goa’s forests feature plants of various shapes and sizes. Paana - Konkani for leaves - is a humble attempt to capture the intricate patterns of the leaves and twigs of Goa’s forests. The saree combines a minimal look with fresh colours and is available in fine quality chanderi silk and light-weight mul cotton.
At Mogasu, apparel is hand dyed and hand blocked printed by skillful artisans with love and precision. You might notice some imperfections - a testimony to the 100% original hand printing techniques. The colours might slightly differ due to lighting and photography.
Paana ~ Chanderi
Chanderi is a traditional ethnic fabric characterized by its lightweight and fine luxurious feel. Chanderi fabric is produced by weaving in silk and golden Zari that results in the creation of a shimmering texture.
Each saree is approximately 5.5 m in length and 45 inches in width. All sarees come with an 80 cm unstitched blouse piece.
All sarees come with edging and tassels :)
